What To Expect From the Green Home Wales Scheme

Expert Guidance

Expect fully funded access to knowledgeable Retrofit Coordinators like Cyd Innovation’s, which provide a detailed home assessment with tailored recommendations on improving your home energy efficiency.

Putting You in Control

The Green Homes Wales scheme is designed around your needs and priorities. You will never be asked to install measures you don’t want, and you are free to decide which improvements to take forward. You can also choose to stop at any stage of the process if it doesn’t feel right for you. Our role is to give you clear, trusted advice so you can make the choices that work best for your home.

Grant Funding

Access to grant funding alongside loans for specific energy efficiency measures, reducing your out-of-pocket expenses.

As qualified Retrofit Coordinators, Cyd Innovation is able to provide support with your home improvements, through 3 stages.

Receive a Retrofit Assessment report, improvements options and a plan which extends into the future. Assessment reports are carried out by Trustmark accredited, PAS2035 compliant and qualified assessors.

Long Term Plan: You will also receive recommendations of home improvements which extend into the future. Thus, the applicant will then decide whether or not to proceed with the recommendations identified within the plan to notify our Retrofit Coordinators.

Cyd Innovations retrofit coordinators can help with the installation of measures identified in Phase 1, including assistance with submitting applications for funding following quotations from our coordinators. The scheme will then determine eligible funding.

Following acceptance, our coordinators successful complete and evaluate relevant home installations, in line with a post project EPC report, following the installation of relevant measures.
