Domestic Energy Efficiency Retrofit
It is widely expected that the minimum energy efficiency standards for local authority and social landlord owned homes will move from an average EPC (energy performance certificate) rating of C to an EPC B rating with a goal of compliance by 2025. To help get you there we can provide fully or partially managed programmes and we can also bring funding. Our most popular services to date include:

Tackling Fuel Poverty
In Wales, households that spend 10% of their income on their energy bills are said to be in fuel poverty. The reasons behind fuel poverty are often a combination of income levels, poor heating system performance and the need to over-heat the property to compensate for heat leakage through the building fabric. We recommend building surveyors include a basic household financial and health check when assessing for energy efficiency measures. It is possible to inadvertently put a household into fuel poverty when changing heating systems particularly when renewable heat sources that may need to run constantly at a low level and the household as previously underheated their home.

- Raising fuel poverty awareness of contractors and frontline staff including how to identify fuel poverty and how and when to engage with your local referral network.
