A good PAS2035 retrofit coordination service for ECO4 installers should provide comprehensive support and guidance throughout the retrofit process, ensuring compliance with the PAS 2035 standards with communication with the installer throughout the process. From the moment the Retrofit Assessment is passed to the Coordinator they should be adding value.

Here are the key features that make a service stand out:

1. Expertise in PAS 2035 and ECO4: The Retrofit Coordination should have a deep understanding of the PAS 2035 framework and ECO4 requirements.

2. TrustMark Approval: The Retrofit Coordinator should be TrustMark registered, ensuring that all work meets the government-endorsed PAS2035 quality standards.

3. End-to-End Support: Offering client support from assessment to installation and post-installation monitoring.

4. Assessment Audit: The Retrofit Coordinator should review the Retrofit Assessment and provide feedback to the Assessor and Client if there are errors or omissions on the Retrofit Assessment.

5. Robust In-House Processes: Having robust processes in place to deliver the PAS 2035 requirements as efficiently as possible.

6. ECO4 Funding Assistance: Assisting with ECO4 funding for the installation of energy efficiency measures.

7. Technology Integration: Utilizing platforms that offer structured workflows for completing PAS2035 compliant retrofit measures.

8. Customer-Centric Approach: Making the retrofit journey as painless as possible for customers, with clear communication and transparency.

9. Continuous Improvement: Staying updated with the latest developments in retrofit standards and adapting services accordingly.

10. Standards: The Coordinator should not approve any works which are not evidenced correctly or which have not been installed to the required standard. The Coordinator should also ensure that the end customer has been engaged throughout the process.

A service that embodies these qualities will be well-equipped to support ECO4 installers in delivering high-quality, compliant retrofit projects that contribute to energy efficiency and sustainability goals and which critically, will allow the installer to get paid on time every time.
